چکیده
Describe a consecutive cohort of people with non-surgically treated ACL injury and evaluate correlations between functional performance patient reported outcome measures (PROMs). Cross-sectional. Sixty-eight individuals (38 males, 18–45 years old) 2–5 after injury. Tegner Activity Scale, International Knee Documentation Committee Subjective Form (IKDC-SKF), Anterior Cruciate Ligament Return to Sport Injury scale (ACL-RSI) ACL-Quality Life (ACL-QoL) were completed. Functional was assessed using 4 hop tests squat test. Mean IKDC-SKF score 72 ± 17 mean LSI on above 90%. Scale reduced from median 8 pre-injury 5 at follow up. Satisfaction activity level 7 10-point ordinal scale. Correlations moderate strong (r = 0.552–0.856) PROMs, negligible weak 0.003–0.403) PROMs 0.142–0.683) tests. had or correlation which indicates the need for multi-modal assessment strategies. injury, but most patients able resume physical sufficient maintain health displayed symmetrical performance. Retrospective study, Level III.

Correlation of Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) with other Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
Background: The Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) is a simple, one-question patient-reported outcomemeasure (PROM). We systematically reviewed correlations between SANE and more extensive PROMs.Methods: We identified studies with correlation coefficients between SANE and other shoulder, knee, and anklespecificPROMs. We calculated mean, median and range across studies...
متن کاملThe association between preoperative mental distress and patient-reported outcome measures in patients treated surgically for cervical radiculopathy.
BACKGROUND CONTEXT Previous research indicates that there might exist a link between the experience of pain and mental distress. Pain can possibly trigger anxiety and chronic pain, as well as also depression. On the other hand, anxiety and depression might also be risk factors for painful conditions and more pronounced subsequent disability and thus, the pathways may be bidirectional. Expanded ...

[Purpose] The aim of this study was to investigate the associations between self-reported and valid performance-based measures of functional capacity in individuals with chronic stroke. [Subjects and Methods] Self-reported measures of functional capacity of 31 individuals with chronic stroke were assessed by the Duke Activity Status Index scores, whereas performance-based measures were assessed...

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to assess the acceptability, reliability, validity and responsiveness of the Short-Form Health Survey (SF-12) and its preference-based derivative (SF-6D), the EQ-5D and the Neck Disability Index (NDI) in patients recovering from acute whiplash injury. METHODS Data from the Managing Injuries of the Neck Trial of 3,851 patients with acute whiplash injury for...
